Homewood-Flossmoor H.S. We are looking for teams to expand the boy’s outdoor invite from 16 to 24 teams. The date is Saturday April 18th, 2010 with a start time of 10:00 a.m. Our facility consists of a new 8-lane mondo track with F.A.T. The meet is run as a standard varsity invitational with frosh/soph relays. Our goal is to improve an already competitive event in hopes of creating one of the elite outdoor invites in Illinois. The 2009 teams were Chicago University High, Mt. Carmel, Conant, Niles West, Eisenhower, Oak Forest, Evergreen Park, Richards, Hillcrest, Rock Island, Hoffman Estates, Seton Academy, Homewood-Flossmoor, St. Rita, Lockport and Thornwood. Lake Zurich High School Boys are looking for 2 more teams to join their Bear Invite on April 23rd. The meet consists of all events for varsity. The frosh/soph will participate in all relays and field events. The scores are combined to determine a meet champion. Whitney Young is hosting a girls invitational on Tuesday, March 30th at Lane Stadium- DePaul University's home track. This inaugural meet will be hosted every year on the week before Easter.The meet will have a Frosh-Soph and Varsity division, and will have 3 entries per event. Awards will go to the top 3 in each event, and the first place team. The following events will be run:

Conant High School wants four more GIRLS’ teams to expand the 12 team Cougar Twilight A-B-C (three level) meet to a 16 team meet (new 8 lane track!) on April 30th. The meet will be run as a regular track meet, with your best athlete competing at the “A” level, your next best at the “B” level, and your third best at the “C” level. Top three performers at either level will medal for that event. Athletes may move up and down levels depending upon ability, but can only compete in four events. All the relays will be run as in a normal meet. It is recommended that you have a larger team to cover all of the events. The date is Friday April 30th at Conant High School in Hoffman Estates.
